A Decade Of Fun

On January 25, 1999 a little girl named Kaeleigh Marie Gallegos entered this world weighing 5 pounds 10 oz and 19.5 inches long. Two weeks ago we celebrated 10 years with our little "Laleybug". I can't believe where the time has gone. It just seems like yesterday that we had this tiny little baby in our hands and now we have a young preteen on our hands.

Some of the memories that I have of Kaeleigh was that when she was little instead of scooting on her tummy she would scoot on her back and do the little inch worm thing. It was so funny. Her first real word besides maya and dadya was her Uncle Bryce's name. Everything she said for a while she would put ya at the end of it. One of the words that she put ya at the end was bye ya, maya, dadya, and whenever you called her name what ya.

She has always been a little mother and still is. She was always helping out with the younger kids even though she was not that much older than them. She is still this way today. She loves to hold the babies and helps me out with Saydee when I ask her. She is almost at the age when she can start babysiting other peoples kids.

She loved her baby dolls a lot. She didn't care for barbie dolls just baby dolls. She wanted to take those where ever she went they came with her. She used to take all the clothes off of the dolls and then want me to put the clothes back on the dolls. She loved the stroller that she had for her doll and would push her doll everywhere she went. She loved to put them to bed and have me wrap up her babies in blankets. The baby had to be wrapped the same way that I would wrap her sister Saydee. She even tried to nurse her babies.

One of the memories that I have of Kaeleigh is when she was little I had a canker sore. She cried because she wanted one also. She used to also lay down by me and say "tickle, tickle, tickle" in a little whisper.

Kaeleigh we love you and are glad that you are a part of our family. You have brought a lot of joy and happiness into our lives. May all your wishes come true in the coming year.

Christmas Eve

I know it is a little late getting this up. Every Christmas Eve we go to Anthony's dads house and have dinner. We always have tamales with chili verde. Deanna(Anthony's step mom) makes the best chili verde. After dinner we open up our gifts from them. They have so much fun. Anthony and I both got money from them. The older two girls got a Hannah Montana purse with money.

Christams on the 23rd

The cousins had so much fun they didn't want to leave.

                 Kaeleigh and her cousin Lydia

Every year on the 23rd of December Anthony's mom does her Christmas party.  So we get together with his mom's family and  his step dad's family.

We have dinner and visit.  Then later Santa Clause comes and gives the kids presents.  This year Kaeleigh got a necklace and bracelet,  Ashlynne got Tinker Bell earings,  and Saydee got some play makeup.

Here are some pictures of that night.

Ashlynne Turns 9

Ashlynne and her friends making pizza

Ashlynne turned nine on December 20th.  She was our little suprise baby.  As you know her and Kaeleigh our 5 days short of 11 months apart.  Many things that we love about Ashlynne is that she is very helpful,  loves to help out,  and loves to get her sisters and play games with them.
We love you Ashlynne and our looking to many more birthdays to celebrate with you.  Here are some pictures of her when she was little also.

Ashlynne gets Top Dog at school

So Ashlynne got Top Dog at her school.  Top Dog is when the student excells in things in the classroom.   It is a quartley thing that the school does.  She got to eat breakfast at the school with their family, and the principal says a few things.  Saydee was sick so I told her she could choose her dad or I since Saydee would not be able to go.   So she decided to take her dad.

We are so proud of Ashlynne and her accomplishment.   Keep up the good work Ashlynne.

Days Of 47 Parade

This is about as good as it gets with Ashlynne.

Our Stake was in the days of 47 parade this year. The girls had a lot of fun marching in the parade. After the parade we went around and saw all of the different booths. I don't have a lot of pictures of Saydee in the pictures. She was scared of all of the characters that were there. I bareley got a picture of her with Smokey The Bear.

The girls and I after the parade

Daddy and his 2 oldest girls with a
Storm Trooper

Darth Vader with Daddy and his 2 older girls.
Again Saydee was having nothing to do with this.

Kaeleigh and Ashlynne with Anakin from Star Wars

The girls pulling the handcart

Smokey the Bear with the girls.
Saydee was actually ok with him.

As we were leaving the blaze dog got on his
motorcycle. I just had to get a picture.

Take A Stroll...

I saw this on my cousin's blog and decided it would be fun to do.

Here are the directions

1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I have together. It doesn't matter if you know me a lot anything you remember...

2. Next, re post these directions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty cool(and funny) to see the responses. If you leave a memory, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave a memory for you.
